You may be the best photographer in the world, but sometimes all it takes to take the best shot is being in the right place at the right moment. It doesn’t even matter if you take it with your cell or high-end DSLR. Often, you won’t even notice you made an incredible picture until you come home and transfer your photos to a computer.

However, that doesn’t mean you should stop improving your photography skills and just wait for that one and only moment. As a popular saying goes: “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”

Server de fișiere cu SQL Server

Tema de casă care am avut-o de rezolvat pentru a fi angajat la firma Inside Software SRL consta într-o aplicație MFC pe arhitectura Doc/View, 2 module ActiveX și 2 componente COM (una pentru client, alta pentru server). Aplicația MFC trebuia să afișeze cele 2 ActiveX (unul afișa lista de fișiere de pe server, iar celălalt să afișeze efectiv conținutul fișierului curent selectat din primul ActiveX). Comunicația între client și server se realiza prin 2 componente COM: componenta COM client implementa apeluri către server pentru upload, download și interogare de fișiere în/din baza de date SQL server; componenta COM server implementa efectiv aceste apeluri către baza de date SQL Server prin ADODB. Una din cerințe a fost ca fișierele importate/exportate din baza de date se se facă prin operații de Read/Write succesive din blocuri de maxim 64KB (a se vedea funcțiile OpenStream, ReadStream, WriteStream, CloseStream). Schema bazei de date SQL Server folosită de această aplicație este în HomeworkBrowser.SQL
